DC UNIVERSE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT - I'm excited about this. I am a Meltzer fan. Not sure I totally understand the cover. Who is superman sharing a face with?


BLUE BEETLE #30 - I like this border opatrol story, it fits his characer and it can really go places.

REIGN IN HELL #2(OF 8) - If this issue sucks I'm dropping it. 

WOLVERINE #68 - This book is great, I think it'll be a classic.



SKAAR SON OF HULK #3 - This is working for me.

FAMILY DYNAMIC #1(OF 3) - I'll give it a chance, is this original?

IMMORTAL IRON FIST #18 - Uh-oh. I don't like the look of that cover.



X-MEN LEGACY #215 - This book always ends strong and doesn't deliver, I'm going to drop it and save money.

FINAL CRISIS ROGUES REVENGE #2(OF 3) - I like this book but the plot to this. Making Inertia the new Kid Flash, and Johns's Legion of Three Worlds redeeming Superboy prime. It feels like Johns is recycling Ideas a bit. 

FINAL CRISIS SUPERMAN BEYOND #1(OF 2)-Not sure what to expect out of a two issue mini.


STAR TREK YEAR FOUR ENTERPRISE EXPERIMENT #5 - Great book, strong art, good writing, and the story feels dense and rich.

JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA #18 - Johns you are all over this week.

WOLVERINE FIRST CLASS #6 - Love this cover.



NEW AVENGERS #44 - Secret Invasion sucks. This issue promises some big reveal. I predict it'll be lame.

KICK ASS #4 - It seems like this book never comes out. Is it shipping late or on a bi-monthly schedule?


MIGHTY AVENGERS #17 -  Meh.

SUPERMAN #679 - Robinson isn't doing to bad.

TEEN TITANS#62 - Finally lets build up some of these new characters please.



TRINITY #13 - I love this book. Is it going to go a full year?

if it's 3-d why not 3 issues. if its not two face related i don't see the point of a 2 issue mini.

Haha, now that you mention it, 3 issues would have made more sense. I guess it was too much for a one-shot, too little for three. If they can tell a good story in two then I figure why not? At least you aren't paying for another comic they didn't feel was necessary to tell the story.

Time for a comicbook review of an unusual comic for me. Every once in a while at the comic shop, I may feel particularly random. Something odd may call to me from the shelves. This comic is one such oddity. Garfield's Pet Force 2014 Special jam-packed with two epic Garfield's Pet Force stories. What is Garfield's Pet Force? I had no idea. I'm familiar with the concept of Oddie and Garfield and watched the cartoon a few times as a kid. I wouldn't consider myself a Garfield fan in the slightest. This comic may have changed my mind on the lasagna loving cat, though. Garfield's Petforce is Garfield as a superhero named Garzooka. Garzooka leads the Pet Force which is made up of his cartoon friends who have their own superpowers and dorky names. The stories are written by Scott Nickel. -Can we officially shut the fuck up about Jake Locker now? I don't care if he was playing the Pittsburgh Steelers, 4-20 for 71 yards, a TD, and 2 INTs is unacceptable. If you take away a 45 yard TD strike to Jermaine Kearse, he was 3-19 for 26 yards and 2 INTs. He's got lots of talent and I'm sure he's a perfectly decent kid but the idea that Locker is the ultimate prospect in this year's NFL Draft is inexplicable. His Heisman campaign is obviously deader than dead at this point and I see no reason that he won't be the next Tim Couch. -Here's a random one: Kansas is down 31-10 to Southern Miss...they score a touchdown with 5:17 left in the game...and go for two?! Uh...what? Who did the math on that one? What possible scenario are they planning for? Are they planning cut the deficit to 13 instead of 14 in hopes that, in the event that they have to settle for two field goals at some point, they can still tie the game (with the addition of another touch...
